From Our Family to Yours

The name Kinship wasn't chosen by accident. It comes from the word “kin” but to us it means something bigger than family. It means closeness. Showing up when it matters. Doing well and doing good. Acting right over being right.

It means taking materials that on their own are completely neutral like tile, wood, stone, hardware, and building something warm and safe for people to actually live in. A space that feels like it was made for them, because it was.

Kinship Renovations NW was built on the belief that a remodeling company can be more than a contractor. It can be a partner. One that treats your home with the same care we'd want someone to treat ours by treating it with honesty, with craft, and with genuine investment in getting it right and delighting you.

We're Matt and George: brothers, tradesmen, and co-founders of Kinship Renovations NW. Based in Mason County, Washington. And we'd be honored to work on your home.

Our Story

Matt and George have spent years in the trades on job sites, in shops or in the field, learning what makes a project go right and what makes it fall apart. What we kept coming back to was simple: the work is only as good as the people doing it and the care they bring to it.

Kinship grew out of a shared belief that homeowners in the Pacific Northwest deserve a remodeling company that shows up skilled, friendly, honest, and genuinely interested in the outcome of the job. We started this company because we wanted to build something we could be proud of. Not just the finished rooms in the houses we work on, but the business itself.

What to Expect

From your first call to the final walkthrough, here's what working with Kinship looks like: transparent pricing and honest scope conversations from the start. Frequent communication so you always know where your project stands. No surprises hidden in the fine print. And a team that treats your home with the same respect we'd want for our own.

We don't disappear after the estimate. We show up, we follow through, and we don't consider a job done until you're happy with it.
